Last few games I've played:

-Paperboy. On Midway Arcade Classics for ps2.

Probably one of my all time favorite 80's games. To me it epitomizes the 80's, 80's culture, I dont think I'll ever get tired of it. Whenever I get in an 80's mood, its paperboy.

Played tonight on easy, but haven't beaten it in a while. The small details make the game fun.

-Actraiser. SNES. On the wii shop channel.

Revisiting this game. I remember renting it a long time ago, in the early 90's. I've gotten farther than I did then. Great music.

-Mario Galaxy II.

Not as fun as 1. Close. Maybe an 8.5/10. The first one was 8.75 or 9/10.

-Zelda II. Wii shop channel. Have beaten about the 5th or 6th temple.

Oh, I loved that game when I was a kid! I had a hard time getting past dogs though.

Currently making my way through Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for DS. I picked this game up on a whim and really didn't expect it to be so fun. It reminds me of the Monster Rancher games for playstation they way you get to fuse demons together to make new ones.

-Castlevania on the wii shop channel.

I don't remember playing it when I had a nes. So far I'm on level 4, not that difficult.

I think new games have almost gotten too easy (those made after about 1995, or 2000). Too many lives, 1 up's, or cheats. My brother tore through mario galaxy 2 this summer, in a week? Couple of days?

Older games make you work more. Games like castlevania, you don't get a lot of lives or health.

-Another one I got, Final Fight double impact on ps3. Very cool!! You can play arcade mode, actually looking at the arcade cabinet. There's 3 or 4 different modes, arcade, classic, crisp, and another one or two. Little nuance changes in the graphics. It recreates the flicker of the arcade game very well!

One game I'd like to buy on wii shop channel is road rash for n64. That game was hilarious. Goonies II for nes would be nice too. Or Goonies 1 for the famicom. Any goonies game basically for wii shop channel.
