Starcraft II
Has anyone heard anything about the Starcraft II release? These Blizzard games are about the only thing I still play on my PC.

No clue. Blizzard is very slow and lazy when it comes out to releasing something, but on the upside of this they usually make a superior product. I am currently waiting for Diablo 3 to come out by them, and doubt it will be out prior to Christmas of 2009.

I think you should reword your thoughts. Saying Blizzard is slow and lazy but makes superior products doesn't really flow right. Also, it gives the wrong impression. As stated on the website, they take their time to ensure quality.

I can't think of a single blizzard game that I've played and didn't like. I'm sure SCII will be the same way!

Blizzard isn't lazy, they are just not motivated enough. When they came across their cash cow with WoW (After WCIII, and so many people doing custom mods of it making hero characters that go WAY up in level, it was a no-brainer they had a potential hit).
But shortly after WoW was released, it was like development on almost everything eles they were doing either slowed or ground to a halt. I think they did a semi-sequal to SC called "ghost"? But I never really heard much about that.
Starcraft and Broodwar came out in 1998!!!!! And nothing has been added for 11 years despite their popularity AND their hints at a sequel/expansion...

So yeah, Blizzard dropped the Brood and ran for the bucket of gold at the feet of the Orcs. Dissapointing.
And how long have we been hearing about SC2?
StarCraft II - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
2003??!?!?
They BEGAN over 6 YEARS ago? That is a little bit more than just making sure everything works.
That is getting close to Duke Nukem sequel here!
I am still looking forward to it, but I stopped holding my breath a LONG time ago.

No I will not reword anything. After playing Diablo 2 for a few years and waiting on patch updates for months at a time to fix a game they werent getting monthly subscriber fees on by allowing cheaters to run rampant, I can honestly say they are 100% lazy, unmotivated, and slow. They make good games (sometimes), but holy crap the wait times are ridiculous.
