I have a PS3 which I only use to play Blu-Rays and Netflix and downloads. Then I have a SNES mini and a Retroport adapter for Legend of Zelda (My favorite video game ever).

Currently own:
• PS2
• Xbox 360

Previously owned:
• N64
• Sega Genesis
• NES
• Wii
• Gamecube
• Xbox
• PS1

My goal is to collect all the consoles some day at least the ones that I like anyways. Then, it would be cool to have a room filled with all sorts of entertainment such as game boards, movies, video games etc.

My 6 and 4 year old really enjoy playing with some of these old gaming consoles. Once i get the NES up and working properly again, i will be set!

Thanks to the Homebrew Channel it's the only video game console you really need.

Pro tip: To get the best picture quality out of your Wii I recommend purchasing component cables for it. These will allow you to hook up your Wii to an HDTV and play many of your games in progressive scan (480p) and in the widescreen format (16:9). Just go in to the Wii settings after you connect the component cable and make the proper adjustments in the options menu. Your Wii and GameCube games (if your Wii is the backwards compatible model) will look better than ever before.

Right now I have these consoles connected to my TV.

PlayStation 4

Wii U

Original backwards compatible Wii

I probably won't buy any game consoles in the future and will finally make the jump to high-end PC gaming.

Atari 2600
Ps2
aaand that's it.
I don't currently own a console.
I'm a PC gamer. Not one of those that will keep trying to prove how pcs are better than consoles, just for the record.
I also borrowed multiple consoles from friends before, like a ps3 to play Uncharted (1, 2 and 3).
