Same here. I think I'm gonna stick with what I've been for years now: a Nintendo and PC gamer. Seems like a winning combination
So just to be clear about what you're saying...

You're perfectly fine with virtual games (Origin, Stardock, Steam, Impulse, or other direct download) on PC, and online verification on PC (Origin, Steam Impulse, and others). But you won't be buying a next-gen console because of those features. Ooookaaaayyy.

What best games are you talking about. Xbox only has Halo and Gears as far as exclusives are concerned.

360 hands down. This is coming from a Sony loyalist!

Wii is charming, but the games seem casual. Also graphically is way behind.

Ps3 stinks with the constant updates that take forever. At least they did back in summer 11, I sold my console to get a 2nd Xbox360. And I had a PS2 I would have shot my other over.

360 has the titles and the graphics to back it up. Almost no load times/ updates are secods. No week long online outages/security breaches.

My .02

Again what titles other than Gear of War, Halo, and Fable does 360 have that you can't find on PS3 or PC? I agree that the updates can be a little long, but I think the PS3 is the best overall console this generation, for a variety of reasons. I'm not a fanboy, just being objective and voicing my opinion.

The security breach happened over a year ago, I've had no problems since.

I voted for the PS3. I feel like it gives you more bang for your buck. All you really need is the system itself and an extra controller and your pretty much set. If you have a bluetooth earpiece for your phone then you can use that as your gaming headset.

With the xbox 360 i feel that there are a lot of hidden costs i.e Xbox live, batteries etc....

Plus there are no additional fees to watch Netflix or Hulu Plus. If you have a home theatre then you can watch Blu Ray movies in 1080p with 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound.

Not ok with that either, and largely why I dont really play many newer computer games.

Batteries for what? You can play wired, and you dont need any batteries.

Sure, Xbox Live isnt free, then it hasnt been hacked either, has it? You get what you pay for.

The Xbox 360 controller has batteries in it. You can play wired also but it is a hidden cost. Xbox Live has been hacked before and people are are actually losing money. Its something that has to do with the game Fifa.

I had my ps3 since December 2007. My cost today is $460 ($399 for the system, $60 for a add'l controller) not including games.

If I had a 360 my cost is $649 ($299 for the system, $300 for 5 years of Xbox live, $50 for an add'l controller) not including games or batteries. Thats a big price difference.
