Hi, I'm trying to make my personal YouTube account active again this summer, but I don't have any other editing software besides Windows Movie Maker - which is what I've made every video ever with. But I'd like to see what else I can do. I don't have the money to pay a lot for a video editing program right now or the viewership so I'd like to see if there's any better programs online for free that I can use to edit my videos. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advice! Definitely not a bad one-time price. Definitely will look into this.

Amazon plays with the price routinely, and it goes up and down multiple times a day.
I have seen it as low as $19.99 recently.

So, if your need is not immediate.... Stalk it.

Video Studio is a good package. Corel bought out Ulead years ago, Ulead had professional video editors and one of the best disc authoring applications available at the time. Corel dropped the professional applications and folded those features into Video Studio and Movie Factory.

How does this compare to CyberLink Power Editor?

I just need something a notch up from Windows Movie Maker, and if it has relatively easy social sharing that'd be a nice plus.

Just wondering. Have you actually used DaVinci Resolve to edit some video. Got any samples you have created?
