The earliest we have is a party we had in 1990.... We recorded it with our VCR camera and its still in its beautiful analog format

Anyone have any 8mm recordings still in thier original format?

My father recorded our family back in the 60's and had it copied onto VHS tapes back in the 90's. At the time I was just a baby. It is very sentimental to me since a few have passed away since then.

Not 8mm but in March 1983...Roy Rogers ( yes that Roy Rogers ) was in my town to open up one of his restaurants. When I heard word he was not only in town but visiting an insurance business that was located directly across the street from me I grabbed my video camera and rolled tape hoping to get a shot of Roy Rogers. He came out...waved hi to us..got my shot and then some. A passing car drove up and the driver yelled at Rogers.."..Hey I hear your restaurants serve horse meat...ah HA that is what happened to Trigger !!". Ah Roy Rogers wasn't happy.

I have at least 50 8mm and Hi8 tapes going back to 1990. I have VHS from 1984 or so.
