Although we pay taxes on food and clothing we more than make it up. NJ taxes on property, gas and everyday living far exceed what were paying.

It's not fair to the people here is what I'm getting at .The number 1 thing you need is food to stay alive and 2 is clothing for your children . What do they do with all that lottery money come on .They gave employees who work for the state a bonus check this year because they had extra left .I read that here in the news .VA is a right to work state but also a right to fire them for no reason .I have seen it and heard the stories here and people are afraid to speak up against wrongs done to them by employers .Gas is cheaper in NJ because there are storage tanks there .I paid 2.19 a gallon last week in NJ and 2.59 here on my way back .I do admit taxes here are lower because my taxes on half an acre was 19 thousand a year in Edison and here on 3 acres I pay a little over 900 a year and car insurance here is cheaper too .I paid over 3 thousand a year in NJ .To be honest with you the dots heads are taking taking over NJ .Dunkin donuts gas stations and mcdonalds and temples are being built for them .Then they have the festival they have in Edison is horrible .The make noise all night you can here for miles but thats there right .

From my understanding lottery money goes to education. As for bonus checks? I work for a public school system here in Virginia and haven't seen a bonus check, or a raise in the last two years, and don't anticipate one any time soon. Be careful what you read in the news. At least we have a surplus, and are not like California.
