Hello, I'm not planning to move to Virginia, but it just popped on my mind and I'd like a little advice to research it.

Here's some details about myself.

I prefer more rural / can also do fine with suburban areas, just don't want to live in the "home-town-feel" paper houses that have ruined parts of my coast with no front or back yards, or MUD or what's it called "projects" everywhere, just so you know what I'd mean.
I prefer to be within 30-40 minutes or less of a city or a bit of an urban area, that's usually never a problem, and if I'm working in my field I'd think it'd be better for me to be closer to a city.
I prefer areas that are not as diverse,
I am not racist, I am telling you my preference, it doesn't mean I can't live somewhere that is diverse.

I would be looking into a job for IT / Computer Engineering, somewhere around that field.

Any ideas of areas I should look into? Again out of curiosity, thanks!

Well, Winchester has both rural and suberbs...you can either commute to DC or Fairfax or even Manassas if you find anything out there. Winchester is also close to Gore which is rural. You pretty much have any store in the city part of winchester so it's very convienant. Hope that helps some.
