I'm from Harrisonburg, just moved here a couple weeks ago, pretty tight place. Nice ski resort too, called "massanutten".

I'm living in Stavanger,Norway.
The name Massanutten must a mix of, I suppose Norwegian because -nutten
is the same in norwegian -nuten. And that means Peak or a small mountain top.

Maybe that's why they called it that...and it's like the tallest mountain around this area.

I know where Staunton is. I've seen the Shanendoah Valley as well. Extremely beautiful. About 5 hours from where I'm from.
