Car Insurance? (Charlottesville, Staunton, Winchester: vehicle registration, how much, moving)

Can someone give me an idea as to how much car insurance runs in the Stephens City/Winchester/Front Royal area of Virginia ? Good driver, early 50's... Also, vehicle registration costs/drivers license costs..(moving from out of state).

It depends on the year car, the insurance company, your record, and if you have full coverage. For instance, my wifes '06 Toyota that she still owes money on, thereby requiring full coverage, runs about $30 -$35 a month in Charlottesville with our insurance company. And that's with a good record.

But with my other company I was paying around $60 a month on a '94 Olds that was paid off with only liability coverage in Staunton. I also have a recent ticket that jacked it up a bit.

We have an '03 Dodge 2dr...no leins, no tickets, clean driving record..full coverage.

I guess you could be paying anywhere between $30-$70 just depending on the type of coverage you choose and the company. Could you get a quote from where you are now so you can be prepared for when you need to change it over? Not sure if you can do that or not without a fixed address.
