My husband and I are thinking about relocating from Naples, Florida to Virginia and wondering where is the best place to race children. We have a 3 and 6 year old.

Default Powhatan Va. for great public schools

I have posted the Powhatan info in a few places. We moved here about 7 years ago. We have a happy, well rounded, friendly and optimistic child, due to the school system and nice family atmosphere here. So, look it up. I'd re-write it for you, but it is kinda late now. Best of luck in finding a great place to raise your precious kids!

That's kinda broad. VA is a pretty well rounded state, so it really depends on what your specific needs are. Either way, I'm sure you can find what you're looking for here.

I lived in Naples 18 years and just went back to visit last week for the frist time in 3 years since we moved.

I live in NC but may be relocating to VA . . .I absolutely love the Abingdon, VA area . . . for me, it would be my pick in raising a family.

It definitely depends upon your criteria. There are pluses and minuses to almost any area.

Like relay races, or cross-country, or something?

hahaha..thanks!

There are many questions asked on "where in Virginia is a great place to raise kids." Virginia has many nice places, many small towns and pretty decent school systems. IMHO, anywhere you decide to live, you will find what you're looking for.
