Hi,

I want to know whether Virginia is the best place to live in the nation? Factors that are important for me to make a decision include weather conditions (snow, tornado, earth quake, nuclear radiation, etc), quality of life, annual income, tax, discriminations, friendly neighbors, unemployment rate, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Can anyone answer this question?
Or could you nominate another place for living?

There are MANY different "best" places to live in America. No one place is going to be perfect for every single person.

For instance, some people might think Hawaii is a paradise on earth - but you couldn't pay me to live there.

You need to work on figuring out what is the best place for YOU based on who you are and what you like

In my opinion, southern and southwestern Virginia are far better places to live than northern VA where you get all that D.C. crime and congestion. Snow happens 4 or 5 times a year, taxes aren't as high as many other places, but annual incomes aren't either. The countryside is bucolic and pleasant, more rural it you like that kind of lifestyle.

If you need to work your best bet is to look for jobs in areas you are intereseted in first, then go wherever you are able to land one.

Virginia is the best place to live in the nation but we don't want everyone to know what a good thing we have here!

Virginia is a werid state in that it has a relatively large population but with no major league sports.

Virginia has a ton of significant history. Just a ton. Colonial Times, George Washington, Civil War, WWII development, even 9-11 happened here. It feels like you are living in an American History Book.

If you are talking about being free and clear of natuarl disasters, nice weather, natural beauty I would suggest somewhere out West like Colorado.
