My husband, myself and our child are relocating to Lynchburg and we are having a difficult time finding a rental. We need a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment, townhome, condo or home with some amenities like pool, playground, and a place to walk. We have no pets. We do not WANT to pay more than $850 for a 3 bedroom unless it is just PERFECT. A 2 bedroom should not be more than $750. And these prices are assuming properties are updated, specious, good area, etc. Any recommendations or referrals are greatly appreciated.

Look in the south/Timberlake area. Lots of newer rentals and competitive prices. $850 is a little light but they might deal. I charge $1025 for a smallish 3br 1.5 ba home in the desirable Boonsboro area but am very choosy on tenants. I could get $1100 or so.

Obviously we would pay more for a nice, well-kept home in a good area versus an apartment
