Just moved to Lynchburg area and need recommendations for physicians. I am looking for a great Pediatrician for my toddler. Prefer one who comes from the less is more approach and doesn't constantly prescribe. I like natural cures, remedies, etc. Not hippy or overly holistic... just rational. A Pediatrician who is friendly and great with kids. Prefer female. Also, looking for a family dentist who is friendly, competent, and not too costly. And nevertheless an Ob-Gyn, Women's NP, or Midwife who is FEMALE.

THANKS!

Better late than never. Dr. Morris at Richeson Drive Pediactrics is one of the older generations of pediatricians at a practice that still does things with a personal touch. There is a great midwife, Erin Baird, at Forest Women's Health Center on Graves Mill Dr. and Women's Health Services on Nationwide Dr. is a great practice (with plenty of women physicians- try Dr. Marracinni or Dr. Kidd), as well. My wife works with them in the Labor and Delivery unit at VBH.
