Lynchburg New Homes (Timberlake: home builders, transfer, high school)

I'm looking to find out what new home builders are building in or near Lynchburg. My husband is possibly being transferred to Lynchburg near Liberty University. We are willing to live 20-25 miles away from that area and we are looking to spend no more than $275k. Any information you could give me would be great. I'm having a hard time finding new home builders online in that area.

We will be in the area next weekend to look at houses and just want to have an idea as to what is there.

Right now there is a good inventory of new homes in the area from $200K-$700K+. I think a good deal could be made as the market over $250K is a little softer now.

There is a new unique new housing development in Forrest that is designed around a "town center" with shops, restaurants and upscale housing. Its almost like a little city. The area has beautiful views and is close to Lynchburg and Liberty. I think the name of it is Carrington. It is quite unique to this area.

You should really check out the Community of Wyndhurst.. It's located just off Timberlake Roak. Turn onto Laxton Road beside Brookville High School and go about a 1/4 mile you'll turn Right onto Enterprise Drive. It's a great community ! I call it a Town within a Town. New homes, lots of little shops and businesses, sidewalks, etc. It's Great !!
