Lynchburg weater & hospitals (live in, areas, counties)

Does anyone know about the humidity and dew point in the area. How bad does it really get? What about the hospitals. Are these good hospitals and doctors?

Dont know about the hospitals, but I frequently go to the area throughout the year, and it does get humid in the summer just like the rest of va but since you are closer to the mountains it tends to be cooler then areas further east in VA. The humidity can be unbearable at times, but its not year round. There are usually a few days in a row where the humidity is pretty bad (step outside and you can feel yourself sweaty almost immediately) but its not continuous. Just humid a few days and then you usually get a break. Hope this atleast helped a little.

Having live in Lynchburg and the surrounding counties all my life I am use to the humidity. Although through my travels elsewhere it really isn't as bad as people think and with the close proximity to the mountains as a retreat it is easy to forget. The hospitals is the area are good and are well known for their cardiac and cancer care facilities. Lynchburg general is about to complete 2 new major additions one of which is a new cancer care facility.
