I went hiking on the Bull Run Mountain today in West Prince William.
I started on the wildlife preserve area. I was unimpressed with the views until I kept going up to the white rocks, which I am not sure if they were on the wildlife preserve trail. I wanted to know 1) Have any of you hike before? 2) Which trail is the best one for views both to the west and east? 3) Is there another set of trails besides the ones given out by the Bull Run Mountain Preserve? -Do the trails just continue and if so how far? 4) What wildlife is there? -I heard they have snakes, and was scared, but I saw a nice herd of deer. -Do they have coyotes, foxes, cougars? 5) Is it true that only in the wildlife preserve the animals have safety, if they go off the small enclosed space they can be hunted? If so I really am sad because how can an animal know much less stay enclosed lifelong in such a small region? Thanks. |
