You all may or may not remember me from a while back. I had posted about being an IT student but having difficulty getting a job. I received a lot of advice and suggestions. Getting a job was hard none the less.

Well i instead took my knowledge and opened a company. The only problem we currently have is getting more traffic in the door. I have contracts with other stores that send me their work, and they get plenty of traffic because they have been around for over half a decade. I am brand new and trying to get my name out.

I have done SEO on my own. A few of the local Gamestop stores refer people to us and previous clients as well.

Since this is a start up i have limited funds and cannot hire a marketer. So i do most of it on my own.

I was hoping i could get suggestions on how to increase traffic. Also suggestions on how to get my name out there, i plan to open a gaming lounge in the store as well so that teens have a safe place to hang out and not get into trouble.

Appreciate all the past help you have given me guys

I suggest you visit area businesses and provide a brochure/flyer about what services you have to offer. Perhaps offering a discount on their first visit. Also, visit some real estate offices--realtors are always looking for a good tech person to fix their lap tops or set up web pages. Good luck! Congrats on starting your new business!

Have you thought about social media coupons, such as Groupon or Living Social? A lot of new businesses in my neighborhood offer attractive discounts to get traffic in the door. Half of the new local businesses (a lot of restaurants, a framing shop, a photographer, a brewery, among others) that I've patronized in the past year I've visited because they had a Groupon or Living Social deal and I thought it would be worth a shot. I'm not sure what costs or commitments it takes to get in, but worth looking into.
