Red face Chesterfield County

I have lived in Chesterfield County for most of my life, and I love it. I grew up close to Chester - and currently reside in the Matoaca Area - and have lived through out the county. There is much information to learn if you are looking to relocate. And most of the information is availabel on-line in regards to schools.. demographics... etc. Also, I am a Real Estate Agent - so if there is anything I can help with, please be sure to let me know!
Nita

Default Moving for work in Colonial Heights

Hi Nita!
I am moving to Chesterfield County from Baton Rouge, Louisiana for my husband's job. We are faced with a temporary living decision and have never been to the area. Our relocation staff has given us 3 choices on apartments in the area. Addison Crater Woods in Petersburg and River Forest and River's Bend in Chester. Keep in mind having never seen any of these places, we think we ruled out Addison Crater for safety reasons. Chester seems safer from what I've read online than Petersburg. But we are stuck between River Forest and River's Bend apartments. The company is paying so that isn't an issue. We want safety and a pretty area. My husband loves to fish and I love tennis so my first thought was River Forest. It is west of 95 closer to Lake Chesdin, the National Park, and has on site tennis court. River's Bend is east of 95 and connected with the River's Bend Country Club which made me think it might be nicer and safer but has no tennis court. We would choose a nicer area over convinence, so after all my rambling can you help us?
