My name is Bob and my family and I live in Eastern N.C looking to move back to V.A where my wife is from aka [Richmond] she has family in Waynesboro as well. I saw an ad for the property Waverly Hill, being offered for sale first time since being constructed in 1929. Does anyone who lives in the area have any info about this home? Many thanks in advance.

Wink Why we are looking to move back to Va.

Well, about 10 years ago my wife and young son moved to Pamlico county. My parents were retiring and my father was building my mother her Dream House on the water. The water life and sun was very attractive at first, then we started having issues with sound employement with benefits. Later as years went by we experienced a total of 3 major Hurricanes Fran being one of them, I am sure you heard of her? We had 31 inches of water in our garage and 5 flooded cars 3 were classic cars at that! Where we lived was close to the water and we were swamped with mosquitos when we had alot of rain. There are great shops in New Bern I dont want you thinking its all like this, the beaches are great and clean people are generally polite and nice. Had we moved towards Raleigh or the mountians our outlook might have been better? I think to be quite honest, the recent loss of my mother due to cancer was the final nail in the box. Our whole family moved to N.C to be near our parents. The weather is hot and humid alot of the time and my wife would love to see four seasons agian. Like they say if mama isnt happy no one is happy. I trust I havent steered you away from N.C your situation may be alot different than ours is. Follow your heart we are.....
