Roundhead is on a distinguished road
I live in a small town. People move in here thinking its "cute" and nice to "mingle" with country people. They think its cheaper. Its not. People keep moving into small places and what happens? You have to start building more and more homes, prices go up. Should I keep going?

boy it seems like everyones on the same page here.my husband and i have traveled to alot of states and recently stopped in a town called waynesboro va.it was so clean and refreshing.we thought about buying here or also asheville nc.i have 2 boys and 1 will start highschool and in nc the corporal punishment is still alive,.that scares me .in va that does not exist.im so uncertain of which will best fit our needs, hospitals, low humidity, great edgucation and work along with nice nieghborhoods of course not in that order.i know im asking for alot, but you guys know how stressful it is to move your family around and not knwing right .well good luck

OK Waynesboro?? No way, that place is horrible and ugly. Gangs in schools and NOT great schools to begin with. NOt a place I would recommend for you and your family.look closer to Staunton, or Harrisonburg.stay away from nasty waynesboro. YUCK

Truely how is Waynesboro va?

The comment about driving prices up in small towns is true. If you watch the real estate prices reg. you'll see.

I was thinking of asheville nc to. In fact when me and my wife goto virginia in a few weeks to visit and look around, we were thinking of going there to.

Same here. Debating on Raeigh area or SE Va (Hampton roads, chester, colonial heights, mechanicsville) Pros and cons of each would be great. I'm married and have 2 teens (13 and 16).
