Default High Knob Tower
As a Southwest Virginia native I am appalled to learn that the High Knob observation tower was recently destroyed by arsonists as a halloween prank. Details are available at timesnews.net.

I too am a SW VA native (Draper). Where was the High Knob observation tower?

In Wise County near Norton. Elevation at tower's base is 4,223 feet.
