Hello

I am in the healthcare field and have the possibility to move to VA. I would like to borrow your experience and ask where would you move and why?

Thanks in advance for your kind help

Country around Winchester. Got the mountains at your beck and call. Growing area with lots to do and housing hasn't gone too high yet. Slightly over an hour to Dulles Airport and DC and less for all that NOVA offers. As a matter of fact, after living in NOVA since 73 the wife and I are moving to the Winchester area. Oh yeah, it has a huge regional medical center that is constantly growing.

If I could live anywhere (and afford it) - Cismont, VA in Albemarle County. It's has some of the most beautiful countryside, farms, and homes.

Highland County, some of the highest elevated areas, fewest people, coolest climate.

Closer to the waterfront in Alexandria City. It's currently a bit of a walk where I am currently, but I think the original City of Alexandria is one of the best cities on the East Coast

I would look in the Virginia Beach area. Job market is not that good in general, but the healthcare industry looks to be very strong with lots of jobs and opportunities. PS. I lived in NoVa for a very long time. Would not recommend that area.

If I could afford it, I'd live in Old Town
