Default Moving to Virginia

Greetings everyone.

I am considering moving to Virginia and would like to get opinion of you that live there.

I am looking for a low crime area, safe schools, decent housing prices (we will rent first to see how we like the area and would like rent under $2,000 a month), things to do for our children and us, clean air and water, lots of beautiful, green scenery, sunny most of the time (cold is ok but not to cold) and friendly people. Jobs in the area do not matter.
Hope to hear from many of you soon.

Come and live in Williamsburg . James City County, VA Here's a video from our Parks and Recreation dept.
We are an hour away from Va Beach if you want to go to the beach. The mountains and Washington DC are 2.5 hours away. Great Schools, Small town atmosphere, low crime History abounds with Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown Colonial Williamsburg Official Site Where History Lives Great Climate, we hardly ever get snow. All in all a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
As an FYI we moved from the Washington DC area to find a better place to raise our two younger children. I wish we had made the move sooner. Search Williamsburg on this forum to get a better feel for the area.
