Patrick Springs area
We are thinking of taking a quick(?) trip from Chicago for the purpose of looking at a house in Patrick Springs, in the Woolwine Community. Is anyone familiar with this area? What towns is it close to - driving distance for shopping, jobs, etc? ANY info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, first off, Patrick Springs and Woolwine are on opposite ends of Patrick County. Woolwine is 15-20 minutes from Stuart and 45 minutes from Martinsville. Patrick Springs is about 25 minutes from Martinsville. That will be your closest shopping. Jobs are hard to find around here, most all business are leaving the area. Depends on what you are looking for.
