Default Christian Fellowship in Southern Virginia

We are thinking about moving to Virginia and are hoping we can find a nondenominational group of Christians that meet for worship outside of a traditional church.

The most important factor is that they take the Bible seriously.

The worship meeting would be open (rather than scripted) and participatory. (Anyone can pick a song to sing or pray out loud.)

The teaching would be done by different men in the group rather than a pastor.

Does anyone knows of a group like that (could be in a home) anywhere near Martinsville? Or anywhere in South Virginia or the northern part of NC?

Sarah Light:

Sounds like you have your priorities straight. If you find that fellowship group you seek, please write about it. I might even join. Here in Virginia Beach - the southeast corner of VA - there are all sorts of nondenominational spin-offs. You might try New Life Fellowship (no relation to the church of that defrocked guy in Colorado Springs). They are growing fast and have many small groups that meet regularly. Be blessed!

We have a couple possibilities in North Carolina but are still hoping for a Virginia option.

New Life is a great church. I just returned and am amazed at how large it is. I really like the atmosphere a lot as well.

Default Manny good churches, but here is my place of worship

Hello my name is Brian and yes there are many good churches in the Martinsville, Henry county area .

I have a wonderful wife and six children and we home school and attend a very nice fellowship in the Martinsville area.

It is spirit filled and has a strong foundation in the word of God and fully supports the Christians who attend.

Here is the church info.

God Bless

Brian

Default fellowship

Hi Sarah,
Many people are fellowshipping online who believe in the Bible seriously and are finding serious problems in many churches:

url www.americaslastdays.com
url www.apostasywatch.com

These both are very very SOLID biblical fellowships and have on line bible studies at least 2x a week.

God Bless!
