Default Best County in Virginia?
I was just reading the worst county thread and figured why not do a best county thread? I think all of the middle peninsula counties are great. There isn't much work in any of them but they're all relatively close to either Richmond or Newport News depending where on the peninsula you are. The area is very rural. The main industries are farming, timber and fishing. Watersports are big as well as hunting and fishing. The schools are decent but improving.

depends on what your looking for. if you are looking for high paying jobs, it would be fairfax. the northern neck of VA has some nice counties. I also love the peidmont area.

My favorite county is York County. I lived there for quite a while and sorta miss it.
