Here Now And Loving This Beautiful State!
Arrived Richmond (airport) on the 7th....What can I say?...Virginia (the amount I have seenso far) is beautiful...Glen Allen and the Short Pump Shopping center...Williamsburg (I want to live there)...Waynesboro...Charlottesville...and much much more...The people are so freindly...There appears to be zero tolerance to bad behaviour...People here have good manners and are polite.
Driving is good until rush hours on the hi-ways...I have got a little scared at the way folk tail-gate...and pull in front of you...but I have seen far worse in the UK...It would be a long time before I would get behind the wheel here...(my poor husband is doing all the driving)...But this is mostly because of getting used to driving on the other side of the road for me.
Well I now have my own pictures to put here including the blue ridge mountains...it was real foggy on the day we went...but you can still capture the beauty and the sheer depth of this place.
I will post pictures when I get back.
