First of all, you should ask in the Northern Virginia Forum

Secondly, it's NOT rural around there

Thanks for your response, Flamingo. I would post in the Northern VA forum if that is where I was searching for housing. I am torn between WV, Central and the Valley. You are correct, there definitely isn't much in terms of rural in NOVA. lol

What do you mean by "Central and the Valley". Are you referring to Central VA and the Shenandoah Valley? If so, these are miserable commutes to Sterling. WV will also be bad, but doable.

Central VA, Eastern WV (Charles Town, Harpers Ferry), Shenandoah Valley are the areas I have been scouring. Commutes are awful in the Mid-Atlantic area, unfortunately. The input is most appreciated, and helps me with my search. Thank you for taking the time out to answer my post.
