Hello

Iím in Massachusetts and really need a change. Renting is ridiculous here and I canít take it. Iím scared of moving and changing schools for my child, but at this point Iím ready to move out of here and so is she.

Ideally, I would like to buy but Iím not opposed to renting for a few months to get acclimated. I also need to find a job but donít know how to go about it coming from out of state.

I have my bachelors in Finance but have been working general positions in the healthcare industry and would like to stay in that field, but Iím open. I donít know what the average living wage is there but here, Iím making $50k and barely making it.

I would also need an area with a great public school system.

Lastly, weíre african American and would like a pretty diverse area, preferably in the suburbs.

Try Prince William County in NOVA. (There is a Northern VA board as well) Very diverse. Many good schools but some to avoid. Salaries may be a little lower compared to closer to DC but the COL gets higher as you move closer to DC.
