Charlottesville...fresh local food! (Orange, Scottsville: buy, organic, living in)

For those looking to relocate to Cville it has much to offer...one of my favorite things about cville is the local food scene. You can buy local produce and organic meat at so many locations. The Cville farmers market on Sat morning, Fluvanna FM on Tues, Scottsville FM on Thurs, Orange Co FM on Wed and Sat, Nelson Co market on Sat....this is one of the many great things about living in this area.

Thanks for the inspiration! I was aware of the Saturday morning farmer's market but I didn't realize there were so many other options. And of course I can't wait to get there and take advantage of the wonderful climate to grow my own local food! Where I live now there is a monthly "farmer's market," but there are only a handful of vendors that actually have produce. The rest of the booths contain jewelry, soap, crafts, restaurant foods, etc.
