I have found the airpumps that take credit cards my new best friend....these are the one you set your psi, apply air and the pump magically beeps 3 times when your desired air pressure is reached. I found one of these at a station on Old Bridge by Food Lion but it's been down. I'm now spoiled.

If anyone sees one of these wonderful machines in you travels, please sing out.

cant help with the air pump, but if the station you're referring to is next door to the taco bell, tread lightly when using your CC in the store/at the gas pump.. seems there's been some fraud issues there recently

Wawa has the automatic ones, and they're free.

I've used just an upright, bicycle pump for years on my cars. It just requires pushing the plunger about 50 - 100 times.
