Hello! I am a teacher who is moving from Maryland to the Winchester area for a job I have accepted. I already accepted a job to teach at an elementary school on the edge of Winchester. My sister and I will be moving together, and she is a massage therapist who has already accepted a position there as well.

We are both active adults who want something that is not an apartment, because we love to grill and have outside space. We also need it to allow us to bring my cat along, who is a senior, front declawed cat. We are definitely not apposed to living in Winchester, but we are very interested in the Stephen's City area. Housing there seems to be harder to come by, but we love it because of the residential area.

Does anyone have any suggestions of specific areas or neighborhoods? We are open and interested in advice, and need to have a new lease by the beginning of July, with being open to starting one as early as the beginning of June.

Thank you so much in advance!

Stephens City would be ideal. Good location and houses resale quickly. Plug away for Stephens City and you'll get something. Are you using an agent?

Stephen's City is ideal, I agree. We are looking to rent, not buy. Yes, we have an agent who has showed us some properties to get a feel for the area, but it was to early to apply. It seems nice Stephen's City rentals do not last long!

They don't unfortunately. Location and good family area makes it an ideal for many.
