I went to Liberty University for a year. In general Lynchburg is a pretty conservative, decent place but downtown Lynchburg is pretty violent.

Downtown L violent?? Since when? Some would call it a little dead but hardly violent. Now in the hood just south of downtown there are some problems. I've been downtown L many times at night and never saw anything scary. I just returned from 3 nights at the new Craddock Terry Hotel downtown. Very nice.

You keep posting this "non-info." There IS a symphony in Lynchburg!! And you still haven't answering my question about what you consider the word "rampage" means!!

I have heard them debating religion at the Wards Rd Starbucks. Other than that LU kids seem pretty typical college kids.

abandonship has good marks in cut and paste, but received failing grades in credibility.

I lived downtown (Church St.) for 6 years and never had any problems with crime of any type. Most of the violent crime is directed towards people involved in criminal activity or has a domestic involvement with the perpetrator; muggings, rapes have been rare in the Lynchburg area, but practically non-existent downtown.
