Default still moving?

Hi Ali,
I don't know if you are still checking this, but we are looking for a part-time preschool teacher in a great area in Fairfax. If you may be interested please call the school at 703-978-6127. We are a wonderful cooperative preschool in Annandale and it sounds like it may fit your needs.

My husband and I have lived in Fairfax with our 3 children for many years. It is a great place to raise children. The schools in Fairfax can't be beat and the sports programs are outstanding.

Hope you may still be checking this.

Amber

There are lots of admin types jobs in the Herndon, Chantilly, Reston, Loudoun County area. Don't let the negative nellies on here who bellyache about the whole DC area bother you. There is lots here for your family. We moved from MD to VA 12 years ago and both work in Chantilly. Our boys played sports and were in scouts. It's a great family oriented area.

I feel sorry for you that you are moving to northern virginia, which is really no longer virginia anymore.

Coming from Alabama, you'd probably feel more at home in the Shenandoah Valley or Richmond area.

Have you ever been to Alabama? My parents lived in Tuscaloosa (college town) for 5+ years and depending where the op lives now, (probably the Montgomery area would be my guess where the post graduate school is) it's far from what you probably think . That is a nice area and not what some ignorant people think of when they think of "Alabama".

Not to mention your comment about where they'd feel at home comes across as rude.

And for the posters who "hate VA so much" why not leave?
