NOVA2 is on a distinguished road
Default CREDIT FREEZE to prevent identity theft

Greetings All.

I don't know if this thread will be allowed or not. Please glance at this article from the Washington Post

http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp...nguage=printer

and then please act by writing to your local Virginia Delegates at the Virginia Assembly regarding Virginia residents' right to freeze their own credit reports from financial fraud/identity theft. I am passionate about this topic and you should be too.
Currently 23 states have given their residents the right to place a freeze on their credit (of course these freezes can be lifted when you want them to); Virginia is not one of them.

The bill pertaining to this is HB34 and the Virginia Assembly meets this year to make a (final?) decision on whether to allow VA residents this opportunity.

Write in and make them listen. Google "Virginia Assembly", and please pass this info on to other VA residents who may be interested.
