Hello everyone, we have been staying in the Asheville North Carolina area and are looking to head home a bit earlier to pennsylvania. We're looking for somewhere in Virginia that's about 2 hours North of Asheville to stop at for a quick day trip on the way. An nice quaint towns right off of 81 would be great. We'll be hitting Staunton for a day too so somewhere in between the two towns is what we're aiming for. If there is a really nice hotel/resort to spend the night at, the that is even better

One of the most beautiful spots I've been to is Great Valley Farm Brewery and Winery in Lexington, off exit 180. They have a beautiful outdoor space overlooking the mountains.
