DePaul Community Resources has very good group homes, but they are located in Lynchburg, Waynesboro and Rustburg. Call 434.455.3727 for more info.

Have any of you heard of a group home for single parents and/or grandparents. I am a single mom and I lost my business after 20 years and now my house will be foreclosed on next month. I am desperate for a group home or some type of transitional home where my kids and I can live until I can acquire a new job and find new housing. Just curious to see if anyone in VA or anywhere else ever opened this type of home for people trying to restablish themselves financially and mentally before they can go out on there own again?
