4-day School Week to Cut Expenses
I recently heard that Dinwiddie County may be looking to go to a four-day school week to cut tranportation costs. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that AND if any other counties are considering the same?

The MAJOR problem of course will be parents still having to work 5 days a week which would cause a whole slew of problems... Beyond that I think it's a good idea though...

We're looking at office personnel going to 4 days 10 hours to cut back on fuel expenses for employees and conserving energy costs. It's summer and there are a few employees that live in N. Carolina who are trying to get child care together. Some are working from home until that happens.
