Educational Consultant NOVA/MD
Could anyone possibly recommend an educational consultant with knowledge of high schools in the NOVA/MD area? We are moving cross-country to the area and have little idea of how our curriculum correlates with that in our new home region, let alone which schools to select. Thank you.

Where are you considering on moving in the NOVA/MD areas? Knowing the particular area/location (county) would help in advising on the best high schools in those particular areas. If you are considering a public school you may not need to get the advice of an educational consultant. I think the best resource would be parents with kids attending these schools. You could then contact a guidance counselor at a particular recommended school to discuss comparisions with your current school system. I would recommend placing this thread on the Northern VA and Maryland messageboards with the locations you are considering on moving. You may get more responses that are helpful.
