Moving to Fredericksburg (low income, apartment complex, income)

Looking for some information on Senior Independent Housing(apartment). Fixed income, 61 yrs. old. If someone could pass on info to me I'd surely appreciate it.

I moved out of Fburg a few years back, but there was a really nice asst'd living / apartments complex in the Chancellor area. Specifically, it was at Route 3 and Kilarney Drive, accross from the bowling alley. I can't remember the name, but I recall it had facilities for those who could live on their own, right up to those who need assistance to care for themselves. Maybe a Google search would help name the place?

find out info. I'm just having a difficult time trying to find out who to contact about Senior Low Income housing facilities. I need an independent living apartment, not at the assisted living stage quite yet. Anyone have any info please let me know,

Dan, Did you ever locate this information? I am in the same situation today however my mom is 70 years old (still independant) and my dad died this past week, so I need to get her moved from KS to VA asap. I know all the county housing vocher programs are closed so I am looking for a income based apartment complex for seniors in Fredericksburg or locust grove area.
