Default Moving from MN to VA

Hello everybody,

I will love to have some idea and advise about living in Virginia. We are thinking to move because my husband gets an offer in McLean. And I work in pharmaceutical companies in MN. And we are thinking to live in Reston or around this area we have kids and we are concerned to choose right place to live. and most the job I found are in Richmond . I was wondering if you know people who live northern Virginia and work in Richmond. I know it long drive from Reston.

Thank you for your advice .
Sam

I would not do this commute. Reston is not near Richmond. As big as the D.C. area is, you should be able to find a job in Northern VA.

Are you a chemist? Biochemist? Biologist? There are jobs for those in these fields in the D.C. area. There is not need to consider a long commute to Richmond.

Smile No No commute

Head the advice of the last poster. Reston to Richmond commute everyday will drive you insane and you will not have much time to spend with your family. I agree you should be able to find jobs closer towards NOVA. Post in the Norther Va. forum to get more responses! -Good Luck!
