I love the Williamsburg Potter Factory, but I have to say that for great deals I like to go to Ikea by DC area. I can spend 2 hours just walking around in the store, and I always find something to bring home. I wish we had a store near us.

I love the DC Area and we travel often to Fairfax and Old Towne. I wish we had the money to live up that way, but we can barely get by down here, at least we always have a close road trip anyhow!

Default Williamsburg Pottery Factory

As a kid, my family would drag us to the Pottery Factory on a one day trip of four hours each way! I recently passed through Williamsburg and I stopped at the Factory. It has really changed, like everything else in Virginia!! The crowds are still there and the awful food court is still open. There is a lot more imported stuff of poor quality that is for sale at high prices. It has lost a lot of its charm and if they are tearing it down for something new, I'm sure the Pottery Factory will cease to exist!! Despite the let down, it is still worth a visit!
