Abington schools (Abingdon: preschool, relocating to, education)

We may be relocating to Abington, VA. I was hoping that you all may respond to me in regards to your thoughts and experiences with the public and private schools in the Abington area. Any thoughts in general or specifically about Preschool playmates, Albington Ecc or St. Bridget? My main concern in the choices currently before our family is educational -

I'm guessing she's referring to Abingdon, Virginia the town.... Beautiful area, but can't say one way or the other about the schools....
