I hope not, but we'll so on Tuesday. I'm astounded that the residents of NoVa don't get that they will get clobbered by Barry's tax scheme. First the tax increase was only going to hit those making over $250k, then he subtedly threw out $200k, then Biden said $150k.

He is correct. World News last evening did the fact check on both candidates. I just hope those that voted early did fact checking themselves. I like waiting til the day of voting. I figure if I can wait in line at the grocery, waiting to vote (which happens every 4 years) isn't going to hurt.

The great state of Virginia needs to be aware of this:

Unless the polls are very wrong [which is possible] it's looking like VA will go blue, along with OH. The fact that NC is now leaning Dem shows just how far this trend has gone.

It is virtually impossible that WV, KY or TN will follow that trend. Indiana is still in play though, and if it goes blue, virtually the whole northern ½ of the eastern US will now have gone in the Dems column [the new north/south divide?]. This would be quite an accomplishment on Obama's part.

I think there's a good possibility that VA may go permanently blue after this election.

Palin was the biggest blunder McCain ever could have made. I was formerly a Democrat leaning McCain, but now I'm solidly pro-Obama simply because I fear what may happen if McCain succumbs in office and passes the reign onto his hockey mom sidekick! I'd rather Biden in charge over Palin.

I just am amazed that the people of Virginia are believing Obama's statement that McCain is 4 more years of Bush...it couldnt be more true. With Obama's drug use, radical ties, and racial associations he could not pass a background check to become an FBI agent, police officer, etc...but he can become the president of the US?!?What experience does he have? Come on Virginia tell me what it is you know that I don't, because I have looked and haven't found anything that backs what he is promising.

Now, Obama's lead over McCain is widening to somewhere between 8% to the double-digits, depending on which poll is used.

There are probably many reasons for this, including increased migration into the Democrat's stronghold in NOVA, and a GOP that over the last term seems to have lost its direction and cohesion.

Is the state trending permanently Democratic? Or is this a one-time phenom?
Sad but true. The day of the truly free and independent American is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
