Moving to the Sandston area (for rent, houses, high school)

We're looking for a smaller community with excellent schools and older homes. I would love to find a farm house with a barn. Is there any towns within 25-40 minutes away from Sandston that is more rural? My son is in sports so a
good football team would be a plus

Check Out The Varina Area,and Elko Area Still Lots Of Farm Houses For Rent Out That Way. When Are You Planning A Move?
And Varina High School Goes To The State Just About Every Year,,,i Think?

Thanks for the reply htlong. The plan is to move this summer. We live in Colorado Springs, CO right now. The housing market is in a real slump here so it may take some time to sell hour home.
