I'm a Moderator on the Google Earth Community (

and am currently working on a post about Francis Gary Powers and the U-2 Incident. I'm working in conjunction with Gary Powers Jr of the Cold War Museum (
http://www.coldwar.org/ )
I have been using lots of photographs to illustrate the story as I go along, and thought it would be a nice idea to have some photos of FG Powers' home town, which is
Pound, Virginia, and also
Grundy VA where he went to school.
Any scenic photos would be good, or one of the high school at Grundy. If you have any from the 1950's that would be even better, but more recent ones would be fine.
The project is purely for information purposes only, and there will be no financial gain whatsoever from it.
If anyone has any photos that they would be willing for me to use, please email me at the address below. I will give you full credit (and thanks) for the use of the photo(s) on the Google Earth website.
