My husband and I will be moving to Virginia for the 2009-2010 school year and I'm wondering how difficult it will be to find a teaching job there. I have one year of teaching experience in Colorado (sixth grade Language Arts and Social Studies). He will be stationed in Virginia Beach...any advice on which districts I should apply in? Currently I teach in a very affluent district in Colorado, so I'm wondering what are the good districts in Virginia
Thanks so much for your help![/FONT]

You should repost this in the Hampton Roads forum. VA Beach and Chesapeake would be my suggestions. Where will you be living ?

Virginia Beach is one school district city wide. This link is to the state department of ed and will give you a start for available jobs. It's not all inclusive but will provide the links for the areas districts.
