Default Amherst county relocation

I have been checking out the Amherst area could anyone recommend any areas that would be say 45 minutes or less to Liberty University and has lakes or ponds near mountains (I would love to have a house on or near a lake ) looking for a small lake you know one that still has fish in it ( I strictly do catch and release) and not a million boats scaring away the fish, not looking for a large house 2000 square feet or less and say 5 acres near federal or state Forrest or state park property, while searching on map I saw a body of water near Piney mountain it looks to be a reservoir anyone familiar with it, if so what is it well any info or suggestions anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated I will be coming down in April for a week with the family to start looking around.
