Default staunton va
What can anyone tell me about staunton va? Is it a good place to live for a single, 27 year old female? How are the jobs, housing, and shopping in the area?

Staunton is a nice small sized city (~25,000), and has a very attractive downtown area. Housing there is affordable too..lots of options to rent and buy for a good deal right now. At your age, if your are looking for folks close to your own age, I would suspect that Harrisonburg (20 miles north) or Charlottesville (35 mi. east) would provide more options..still, as I said, Staunton provides many good options, and I really enjoy exploring its downtown area...

hey, thanks for the info. how's the job market in those areas? I'm a medical assitant for now but would like to back to school but not sure for what.
